The central scheme of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana provides financial support to land-owning farmers in India. The beneficiary farmers receive an amount of Rs 6,000 every year that is credited in three installments to their bank accounts.

As per the official website, eKYC is essential for the PM KISAN registered farmers. A user can visit the website and tap on the eKYC options in the Farmer Corner for Aadhaar based OTP authentication as well as biometric authentication for contacting the nearest CSC centers. The farmers who are eligible for this scheme are required to link their Aadhaar with their respective accounts to avail benefits.

PM Kisan Samman Nidhi: Steps to link Aadhaar

Step 1: Go to the official website by clicking on the link www.pmkisan.gov.in.

Step 2: Next, click on the ‘Farmer Corner’ option on its home page.

Step 3: Choose the ‘Edit Aadhaar Failure Records’ option.

Step 4: The page will also have options like Aadhaar Card Number, Mobile Number, Bank Account Number, Farmer Number.

Step 5: Tap on the Aadhaar Number.

Step 6: Now fill in all the required details and click on the ‘Update’ option.

How to update eKYC with PM Kisan to avail benefits

Step 1: Visit the official website of PM Kisan, www.pmkisan.gov.in.

Step 2: Tap on the eKYC option present on the right side of the page.

Step 3: Provide the Aadhaar card number and give the captcha code by selecting the search button

Step 4: Now enter the mobile number along with the Aadhaar card

Step 5: Click on the ‘Get OTP’ option and enter the OTP in the specified file available.

Finally, your Aadhaar will be linked and updated. If the OTP entered has some errors, then it can be visited by CSC centers to update the biometrics.

Here are the steps to check PM Kisan’s beneficiary status:

Step 1: Log in to the official website pmkisan.gov.in

Step 2: Tap on the ‘beneficiary status’ option.

Step 3: Choose the Aadhaar number providing the account number or mobile number.

Step 4: Now tap on the ‘Get Data’ option and data will be visible to the beneficiaries.
