Using the UMANG Application users can now access Passport Seva on their mobile.
The government of India is taking lots of measures to boost digitalization in the country. UMANG Mobile Application by the government is one such measure. Using the UMANG Application users can now access Passport Seva on their mobile.
Apart from Passport Seva, services related to Aadhaar, EPFO, PAN, etc can also be availed using the application.
Recently UMANG App India took to its official Twitter handle to inform about the Passport Seva. “Did You Know! Passport Seva enables simple, efficient and transparent processes for delivery of passport and other related services. The service is also available on UMANG app!,” it tweeted.
It further said that those who want to download the application can do so by giving a missed call at 97183-97183.
As per the information provided, the following Passport Seva can be accessed using the UMANG Application:
1. Check document required for various type of passport.
2. Calculate fees calculation for fresh, reissue and PCC passport.
3. Locate nearest passport centre.
4. Check current status of your application.
5. Easily check the availability for appointment.
It can be noted that UMANG is an application which allows people to access and avail various government services online on a single platform.
