Telegram, the popular messaging application, has unveiled a lot of new features. Telegram would now allow up to 1000 people to join a group video call and send video messages, according to the latest update. Not only that, but Telegram has added sound and screen sharing to all video calls, including one-on-one talks – and much more. Since WhatsApp was criticised for its new unclear privacy policy, Telegram has seen an increase in users. Most WhatsApp users thought Telegram and other chat apps like Signal were safer.
Telegram Update – 1,000 People can Join the Group Video Call
The telegram has stated that it intends to increase this limit until all individuals in the world can participate in a single group call. As a result, the company has permitted approximately 1000 people to join the video call, with 30 people broadcasting video from both their camera and their screen. This capability would be very beneficial for online lectures, seminars, and perhaps large-scale internet concerts.
Video Messages
Telegram’s video messaging feature has been updated. Video messages, according to Telegram, are a fast way to check in or share your whereabouts without having to add an additional video to your gallery. Simply press the record button in your chatbox to send the video to your contacts. The video would not be stored in your gallery.
You can now control the speed at which videos play on your Telegram. The app’s media player now supports playback speeds of 0.5x, 1.5x, and 2x. As a result, you may use this to either fast-forward conversations or watch slow-motion videos. When watching a full-screen video, tap the three dots on Android or the three horizontal dots on iOS to adjust the video playback speed.
Sharing Screen with Sound
When streaming in any video call, Telegram will soon allow users to share their screens on one-on-one calls. So, if you’re watching a movie, you may share your screen with a friend and enjoy it together.
