West Bengal minister Sadhan Pandem has been hospitalised after is suffering from severe lung infection on Friday night.
West Bengal minister and Trinamool Congress (TMC) leader Sadhan Pande has been hospitalised after falling sick on Friday night.
Veteran Trinamool Congress (TMC) leader, 70, is suffering from severe lung infection. He has been put on ventilation support at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of a private hospital in Kolkata, sources said.
According to Sadhan Pande’s daughter, the nine-time TMC MLA has been diagnosed with pneumonia after he was admitted following breathing trouble and cough on Friday.
“Hospital said they have conducted tests and his brain is functioning normally. CT scan reveals pneumonia in the lungs. Lets all pray for his recovery,” said daughter Shreya Pande.
Before being hospitalised in the evening, Sadhan Pande had attended an event organised by his ministry.
The TMC heavyweight retained his Maniktala seat for the third consecutive term this year and was sworn as the state consumer affairs minister.
