Xiaomi has officially unveiled its latest flagship smartphones, the Redmi K80 and Redmi K80 Pro, in China. These new devices come packed with powerful specifications, including Snapdragon chipsets, 120Hz AMOLED displays, and the latest HyperOS 2.0 software.

Price and availability
The Redmi K80 starts at CNY 2,499 (approximately Rs. 29,000) for the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant, with the top-end 16GB + 1TB model priced at CNY 3,599 (around Rs. 42,000). It is available in multiple colours like Mountain Green, Mysterious Night Black, Snow Rock White, and Twilight Moon Blue.
The Redmi K80 Pro begins at CNY 3,699 (roughly Rs. 43,000) for the base model with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. The premium version with 16GB RAM and 1TB storage is priced at CNY 4,799 (around Rs. 56,000). Xiaomi has also introduced a special Champions Edition of the K80 Pro, featuring the Automobili Lamborghini Racing Team branding, priced at CNY 4,999 (approximately Rs. 58,000).

Key features and specs
Both models in the Redmi K80 series feature a 6.67-inch 12-bit AMOLED display, offering 2K resolution (1440 x 3200 pixels) and an impressive 120Hz refresh rate. The displays can reach a peak brightness of 3,200 nits, making them perfect for high-quality viewing, and they support HDR10+ and Dolby Vision. The Redmi K80 Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, while the base Redmi K80 runs on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor.
Both phones come with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. The HyperOS 2.0 system provides a smooth and intuitive user experience. In terms of photography, the Redmi K80 features a 50-megapixel primary camera and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens. The Redmi K80 Pro adds a third 50-megapixel floating telephoto lens with 2.5x optical zoom for enhanced zoom capabilities.
