IndiGo to launch direct flights from Puducherry to Bengaluru and Hyderabad next month – Check flight schedule here

Puducherry has been named one of the top globally trending must-visit destinations for 2025, further highlighting the importance of these new flights.

IndiGo, India’s leading airline, is expanding its network with the addition of Puducherry as its 89th domestic and 125th overall destination. Starting from December 20, 2024, IndiGo will operate daily direct flights connecting Puducherry with Bengaluru and Hyderabad. This move is set to enhance accessibility, provide more flight options, and strengthen connectivity to and from the scenic union territory of Puducherry.

Puducherry, renowned for its beautiful beaches, colonial architecture, and serene atmosphere, is now easily accessible from two major cities in India. According to Vinay Malhotra, Head of Global Sales at IndiGo, the introduction of these flights will not only put Puducherry on the aviation map but also offer greater connectivity to key domestic and international destinations across IndiGo’s expansive network.

As an added bonus, Puducherry has been named one of the top globally trending must-visit destinations for 2025, further highlighting the importance of these new flights. The town’s attractions, including Sri Aurobindo Ashram, Auroville, Paradise Beach, and Rock Beach, are expected to draw more visitors from across the globe.

Why Puducherry, Bengaluru and Hyderabad?

The new daily flights will begin on December 20, 2024, with the following schedule:

  • Flight 6E 7142: Bengaluru to Puducherry, Departure: 11:10, Arrival: 12:25
  • Flight 6E 7143: Puducherry to Bengaluru, Departure: 17:10, Arrival: 18:35
  • Flight 6E 7146: Puducherry to Hyderabad, Departure: 12:45, Arrival: 14:30
  • Flight 6E 7144: Hyderabad to Puducherry, Departure: 15:05, Arrival: 16:50
