Deepika Padukone once revealed why Ranveer Singh would complain about her in the family WhatsApp group.
Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are among the most celebrated couples in Tinseltown. After meeting on the sets of Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela, they dated for nearly five years before exchanging vows in 2018. Just like many, the real seal-the-deal moment was when they both were included in family WhatsApp group chats. Once, Deepika shared how her husband would complain about her in the family group.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, when the entire world cooped up in their homes and everything was shut down, Deepika and Ranveer, like many other couples, got some much-needed time to spend with each other. In an interaction with Film Companion, the Singham Again actress revealed that she was looking after her house and was busy being productive as she couldn’t sit idle for long.
Deepika shared that her husband would complain about this trait of hers on their family group chat. She recalled how Ranveer would ask her to sit in a place, relax and avoid doing work all the time, admitting that doing something at all times kept her mind occupied. However, that never used to go down well with her husband who would often complain.
In the same conversation, the Pathaan actress shared an incident in which she sprained her back while cleaning the house. Just like any other doting husband, Ranveer, too, had asked her not to move from the bed since her back was hurt. But Deepika, being herself, was back to doing household chores despite the pain.
When Ranveer came back after some time, he found his wife back to cleaning the house. Deepika shared that she was up on a shelf, trying to clean something, when a furious Ranveer said, “Can you not do this phat phat all the time? Just sit in one place, you’ve injured your back.” This gesture of Ranveer towards Deepika served pure husband goals, showcasing how much he loves and takes care of his wife.

At present, Deepika and Ranveer are fulfilling parent duties as they welcomed their first child, a daughter whom they have named Dua Padukone Singh, just two months back. The new parents shared a collaborative post on their social media handles announcing the arrival of their baby girl on September 8.
Speaking of their work front, both Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh were most recently seen in Singham Again, the fifth film of Rohit Shetty’s Cop Universe. The film also featured a star-studded cast, including Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Tiger Shroff, Arjun Kapoor and more.
