Samsung is looking at bringing an affordable Flip version which will get more people excited for the segment in 2025.
Samsung recently clarified that an affordable Galaxy Fold model might not happen anytime soon. But a flip phone could be a solid possibility for the brand. Reports this week claim that a Galaxy Z Flip FE model is likely to be announced next year, as the company looks to innovate and bring the foldables to a wider audience.
We still don’t know a lot about the technical parts of this supposed affordable Flip phone, but we could see it launch around April next year, the report further mentions.
Samsung’s foldables are still quite pricey, but the Flip models have managed to stay within a reasonable range. With the likes of Motorola bringing the Moto Razr to a lower price spectrum, it is high time Samsung also does something different to keep itself engaged and core part of the foldable segment.

And before that happens, the company is going to be busy with the roll out of the Android 15-based One UI 7 version which is already facing delays and yet to see the beta version come out. The brand will also have to focus on the launch of the Galaxy S25 series, which may or may not have more products lining up along side next year.
