This year, both Choti Diwali and Lakshmi Puja fall on October 31, with the auspicious time for Lakshmi Puja between 5:36 pm and 6:16 pm in New Delhi.

Pradosh Kaal is observed between 5:36 pm and 8:11 pm, while Vrishabha Kaal extends from 6:20 pm to 8:15 pm.

Keep homes and workplaces clean and well-lit to welcome Goddess Lakshmi, as cleanliness is considered auspicious.

Decorate homes with diyas, rangoli, and flowers to foster a prosperous environment.

Position a Manglik Kalash with a coconut at both sides of the main entrance to invite prosperity.

Perform the puja in the northeast corner of the home or business, placing idols facing east. Spread a red cloth on the altar and arrange the idols of Lakshmi, Saraswati, and Ganesh on it.

Don’ts for Diwali Puja 2024
