The German car manufacturer Mercedes-Benz has arrived with the latest model of AMG G 63 for Indian customers. The giant 2024-25 SUV has been launched at the starting price of Rs 3.6 crore. (ex-showroom) with the choice of 31 unique upholstery options and 29 paint options.
This is the 13th launch of the year from the brand, and there is one more launch that is scheduled to take place before the year ends. This was revealed by the top officials of Meredes-Benz during the launch event of E-class LWB.

Booking Open
It has been informed by the brand via official release that the vehicle has received more than 120 bookings even before the launch. Now, the company has kickstarted the bookings for the same for Q3 2025.
Powertrain
Under the hood, the newly launched AMG G 63 is powered by a robust bi-turbo 4.0-litre V8 engine, complemented by a 48V mild hybrid system. This powerhouse forces the off-roader to generate a maximum power of 577bhp and 850Nm of peak torque.
The unit is paired with the nine-speed torque converter gearbox and AMG’s impressive Performance 4MATIC as standard. Apart from this, the model also gets a Race Start system, which is a part of the AMG performance package. It enables the car to go from 0 to 100kmp in just 4.3 seconds, offering a top speed of 240kmph.

In addition, the company has included the Launch Control system in the SUV, raising the competition higher and making it more dominant in its segment.
Looks-wise, it shares the same road presence as the outgoing version. However, there is a long list of cosmetic changes that can not be ignored. It gets an updated front fascia, featuring an improved blacked-out grill with big size three silver arrows. The sets of impressive alloy wheels, heavy cladding on the sides, roof rails and LED elements put extra feathers on its cap.
