Maharashtra’s Mahayuti government recently launched a comprehensive online platform to facilitate easy access for the beneficiaries of ‘Ladli Behna Scheme’ (Ladki Bahin Yojana). The government has launched a new mobile app, called ‘Nari Shakti Doot’, to further help the beneficiaries of the scheme.
The mobile app is available on Google Playstore. The app is one-stop solution for the beneficiaries of ‘Ladli Behna’ scheme, which was rolled out in August this year for women empowerment.

What is Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahini Yojana?
The Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahini Yojana, or the Ladli Behna scheme, was launched by Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Deputy Chief Ministers Devendra Fadnavis and Ajit Pawar at the grand event. The ceremony had many women in attendance. The scheme by the Maharashtra government has been modelled on the Madhya Pradesh government’s ‘Ladli Behna Yojana’. According to the officials, the scheme will benefit over a crore women in Maharashtra.
Who is eligible for Maharashtra’s Ladli Behna scheme 2024
The welfare programme provides monthly Rs 1,500 aid to the destitute, divorced as well as married women in the age group 21-60. Under the scheme, a woman with an annual family income ceiling of Rs 2.5 lakh is eligible for the Ladli Behna scheme.

For applying for the benefits under Ladli Behna scheme, one needs Aadhar card, age proof, Pan card, income proof and address proof.

• First, you need to download Nari Shakti Doot app from the Google Play Store.
• Open the app and log in using your mobile number.
• Accept the terms and conditions and enter the OTP sent to your registered number. Click Verify.
• Click on Your Profile and fill in your basic details like name, email ID, and district.
• In the Nari Shakti section, select the Ladli Behna scheme option.
• Go to the homepage and find the Maharashtra Ladli Behna scheme option on the dashboard. Click on it to open the application form.
• Fill in the required details carefully and upload all necessary documents.
• Click Submit at the end of the form to apply for the scheme.
