The Railway Ministry has issued a letter to run the special train on a trial basis.
New Delhi: It is the festive season and for Bihar, it brings extra joy due to the Chhath Puja along with Diwali. Under these circumstances, all trains between Patna and Delhi are running packed. Hence, for the first time, Indian Railways has tried to provide relief to the passengers who are trying to get tickets by releasing the schedule of the special Vande Bharat train between Patna and Delhi.

The Vande Bharat train will travel from Patna to Delhi in about 11 and-a-half hours. However, the passengers will have to complete the journey from Delhi to Patna while sitting because the train running as a special train will not be sleeper Vande Bharat.
Sleeper Vande Bharat is currently in the trial phase and it is expected that after the completion of the trial, this train will replace this special Vande Bharat on regular basis.
The Railway Ministry has issued a letter to run the special train on a trial basis for Delhi-Patna Vande Bharat Express train with stops at Arrah and Buxar Junction under the Railway Division. The train will start from Delhi on October 30 and 1st, 3rd and 6th November and after 31st October from Patna to Delhi on 2nd, 4th and 7th November.
In between, the train has stoppages at Arrah, Buxar, DDU, Prayagraj, and Kanpur.

It will leave from New Delhi at around 8:25 am, stopping at Kanpur, Prayagraj, and Buxar and will reach Arrah Junction at 7:10 pm and will complete its journey at Patna at 8 pm. At the same time, it will depart from Patna at 7:30 am and reach Ara Junction at 8:7 am and Delhi at 7 pm.
The fare of AC chair car coach in Vande Bharat special train is Rs 2575. Whereas for AC Executive Chair Car you will have to pay Rs 4655 per ticket. This also includes tea, breakfast, and dinner.
