Gold and silver rates today, October 09
The 24-carat gold rate in India was quoted for a price of Rs 75,100 per 10 grams on October 09. The rate for 24-carat gold per gram is Rs 7,510. The rate of 22-carat gold was Rs 68,842 per 10 grams.
“Tensions in West Asia between Iran and Israel are also keeping gold volatile, with a projected range between Rs 75,450-Rs 76,350 in MCX. Market sentiment on rate cuts remains neutral, with expectations of a 0.25% cut as the US unemployment numbers came in line, dulling hopes for a larger rate cut. While the overall trend for gold remains strong, some minor profit bookings could emerge. Immediate support is seen near Rs 75,400-Rs 75,550, with resistance around Rs 76,400-Rs 76,550,” said Jateen Trivedi, Vice President of Research, Commodity and Currency at LKP Securities.
The rate of 24-carat gold has risen by 1.5% in the last week, and the yellow metal has risen by 0.68% in the last ten days. The silver currently quotes at Rs 88,650 per kilogram.

The 24-carat Gold was selling for a price of Rs 75,100/10 grams. On October 08, the price of gold was quoted at Rs 75,990/10 grams. A week back, on October 02, gold was sold for Rs 76,250/10 grams.

Silver rate in Mumbai on October 09
Silver was quoted for a price of Rs 88,650/Kg on October 09 in Mumbai, a significant fall of Rs 3,670. A day ago, the shinning metal was priced at Rs 92,320/Kg and a week ago the price was Rs 91,280/Kg.
