Gold and silver rates today, October 08
India immersed itself in festivities, starting with a nine-day-long Navratri to Dussehra and then Diwali. In Gujarat and other parts of India, people are busy playing garba and dandiya while West Bengal celebrates Durga Puja.
The prices of both gold and silver have shot up due to escalated geopolitical tensions in West Asia.

The 24-carat gold rate in India was quoted for a price of Rs 75,990 per 10 grams on October 08. The rate for 24-carat gold per gram is Rs 7,599. The rate of 22-carat gold was Rs 69,658 per 10 grams.
“India’s upcoming RBI policy on Wednesday is also expected to influence the rupee, potentially affecting gold prices further,” said Jateen Trivedi, Vice President of Research, Commodity and Currency at LKP Securities.
The rate of 24-carat gold has risen by 0.3% in the last week, and the yellow metal has risen by 1% in the last ten days. The silver currently quotes at Rs 92,320 per kilogram.
Gold rate in Mumbai on October 08
The 24-carat Gold was selling for a price of Rs 75,990/10 grams. On October 07, the price of gold was quoted at Rs 76,120/10 grams. A week back, on October 01, gold was sold for Rs 76,250/10 grams.

Silver rate in Mumbai on October 08
Silver was quoted for a price of Rs 92,320/Kg on October 08 in Mumbai, a fall of Rs 1,100. A day ago, the shinning metal was priced at Rs 93,420/Kg and a week ago the price was Rs 91,270/Kg.
Gold rate in Delhi on October 08
Delhi may see some buying due to the ongoing auspicious Navratri festival. On October 08, the gold was quoted for a price of Rs 75,860/10 grams. The gold was selling for Rs 75,990/10 grams on October 07. While the price of the 999 gold was Rs 76,110/10 grams a week ago.
