What happended in last elections?

In the 2019 Haryana Assembly election, the state delivered a hung assembly. The BJP secured 40 seats, Congress won 31, and Dushyant Chautala’s JJP took 10 seats, becoming the kingmaker in the subsequent coalition government. However, this coalition collapsed in March 2024, leading to the resignation of Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar. Nayab Singh Saini was sworn in as chief minister, although his minority government faced difficulties after three independent MLAs withdrew their support in May 2024.
