An alert has been issued by the agencies regarding the security of the national capital and the police have alerted that terrorists can target crowded areas, Israeli embassy, ​​areas with foreign movement and other religious places. Notably, the intelligence alert has been issued from Navratri to Diwali, which is a time when masses gather to celebrate in the national capital.

The police have been assigned by higher-ups to boost their patrolling frequency around the market and execute random checks at various points of interest like markets themselves, property and car dealerships, and mechanic shops. Officers not in uniform are keeping a keen eye on these spots, with both the general public and security staff urged to call out any behaviour that doesn’t seem quite right.
