Bhartiya Sanskriti Gyan Pariksha: Know Exam Date, Eligibility And Cash Prize

In today’s fast-paced world, modern education and technical skills have taken precedence. Amid this, the Bhartiya Sanskriti Gyan Pariksha – organised by Gayatri Shakti Peeth – offers a distinctive opportunity to reconnect with our cultural heritage and traditions. This examination aims to enlighten students about Indian values, customs, and ethical teachings. Its goal extends beyond academic growth to include the holistic mental and character development of students. Manoj Yadav, the Tehsil Coordinator of Gayatri Shaktipeeth Kasrawad in Khargone, Madhya Pradesh, informed Local 18 that the Bharatiya Sanskriti Gyan Pariksha has been held consistently for 30 years. This examination is conducted by Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya, Shantikunj, Haridwar. Initiated in 1994, it has seen participation from millions of students each year, providing them with the chance to engage with their cultural heritage.

This year, numerous schools from 20 states including Khargone, are taking part in the Bharatiya Sanskriti Gyan Pariksha 2024-25. Conducted nationally in 11 languages, this exam awards students with various prizes at the tehsil, district, and state levels.

Eligibility Criteria:

Students from grades 5 to 12 are eligible to participate. College students are also welcome to join.

There is no entry fee for any participant.

Prizes to be given:

Participants in the exam will be awarded prizes. Students who achieve first place at the tehsil level will receive Rs 350, while those at the district level will earn Rs 1,000. At the state level, the top prize is Rs 3,500.

Exam date and procedure

Registration for the Bharatiya Sanskriti Gyan Pariksha is now open and will remain available until October 9, 2024. Candidates can reach out to their nearest Gayatri Shakti Peeth for registration assistance. The exam is scheduled for November 9, 2024, from 12 noon to 1 pm. Special study materials have been provided for students to enhance their preparation. To access these materials, students will need to pay a fee ranging from Rs 35 to 50.

This exam not only offers students the opportunity to explore and understand Indian culture and ethical values, but it also allows them to discover their potential and gain motivation.
