Lava has unveiled its Agni 3 smartphone today. Lava Agni 3 comes powered by MediaTek Dimensity 7300X processor and boasts of a 5,000mAh battery. One standout feature of the new Lava phone is the mini AMOLED screen on the back. The smartphone comes with a starting price of Rs 20,999 and will go on sale starting from October 9, 2024. Lava Agni 3 features
Lava Agni 3 is equipped with a 6.78-inch 1.5K HDR 10+, 3D curved AMOLED screen with 1200 x 2652 pixel resolution. The phone’s screen offers a 120Hz refresh rate and 1200 nits peak brightness. The secondary display on the rear has a 1.74-inch 336 x 480 pixels secondary AMOLED screen.
The handset comes powered by MediaTek Dimensity 7300X 4nm octa-core processor with Mali-G615 MC2 GPU. The phone packs 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM paired with128GB and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. Lava Agni 3 runs on Android 14 operating system.
On the camera front, the smartphone features a 50MP camera with 1/1.55″ Sony sensor with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS). The primary camera comes paired with an 8MP ultra-wide camera with f/2.2 aperture and an 8MP 3x telephoto camera with 30x digital zoom. For selfies, the Lava Agni 3 phone has a 16MP front-facing camera with Samsung sensor.
The handset comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor. Other sensors include USB Type-C, Stereo speakers, Dolby Atmos, and IP64 rating for dust and water resistance. The phone measures 163.7×75.53×8.8mm and weighs 212 grams. The device is backed by a 5,000mAh (typical) battery with 66W fast charging.

Lava Agni 3 price and availability
Lava Agni 3 is offered in two variants – 8GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB priced at Rs 20,999 and Rs 22,999, respectively without charger. The price increases to Rs 22,999 for the 128GB storage model. Pristine Glass and Heather Glass are the colour options that one can choose from. Pre-bookings of the phone starts October 8, while the open sale begins from October 9.
