While the majority of buses will be routed to Vijayawada from various areas of the state as well as neighbouring states, Hyderabad ranks second in terms of bus allocation due to the enormous number of devotees who attend the Kanaka Durga Temple.

Up to 1,100 buses will be available to go to Vijayawada during and after the festival from various locations around the state. Since the majority of the state-run corporation’s workers used to go to their native Andhra Pradesh, 990 buses were allocated to Hyderabad before and after Dussehra.
