Canara Robeco Consumer Trends Fund: Turning Rs 10,000 SIP into Rs 88 lakh in 15 years!

Canara Robeco Mutual Fund, India’s second oldest asset manager, recently celebrated the 15th anniversary of its Canara Robeco Consumer Trends Fund.

Canara Robeco Consumer Trends Fund, an open-ended equity thematic fund, focuses on companies poised to benefit from India’s growing consumption demand. The fund, launched on September 14, 2009, is benchmarked against the BSE 100 TRI.

The fund invests across various market capitalizations, enhancing its exposure to promising companies within the consumption sector.

Canara Robeco Consumer Trends Fund allocates 80% to 100% in equities of companies benefiting from growing consumer demand, with additional investments in debt instruments, REITs/InvITs, and other equities. The fund is managed by Shridatta Bhandwaldar and Ennette Fernandes.

Over the past 15 years, the fund has delivered an annualised return of 18.93% in its regular plan’s growth option.

Based on this return, an initial SIP investment of Rs 10,000 in the fund would have grown to Rs 88.28 lakh by now.
