Honor recently launched its flagship Honor 200 series in India, which includes the Honor 200 and Honor 200 Pro smartphones. Now, the company is launching a third smartphone in the series, the Honor 200 Lite. As the name suggests, the smartphone will likely be the new affordable model in the series. Honor has confirmed the launch of Honor 200 Lite on September 19, and that the device will be available on Amazon India and at the company’s mainline stores. As with the Honor 200 and Honor 200 Pro, the highlight of the Honor 200 Lite will continue to be its camera. Honor has been marketing the devices to allow “professional-level” photography.

The company has already confirmed that the Honor 200 Lite will feature a triple camera setup that will include a 108-megapixel main camera with f/1.75 aperture, a wide and depth camera with f/2.2 aperture), and a macro camera with f/2.4 aperture. The smartphone has also been confirmed to offer different portrait modes, like 1x Environmental Portrait, 2x Atmospheric Portrait, and 3x Close-up Portrait. For selfies, the Honor 200 Lite will feature a 50-megapixel camera, which will also feature AI Wide-angle Selfie functionality that adjusts to a 90-degree Field of View (FOV) for group selfies.
Honor has also confirmed some design details about the phone. The company says that the Honor 200 Lite will be sleek. It will sport a thickness of 6.78mm and weigh 166g. Honor says “the device is built to withstand everyday wear and tear and accidental drops, earning an SGS 5-star Drop Resistance certification”. The Honor 200 Lite will be available in three colour variants: Starry Blue, Cyan Lake, and Midnight Black.

The Honor 200 series features a triple-camera system, with a focus on portrait mode developed in collaboration with Studio Harcourt. The rear cameras include a 50-megapixel main portrait lens, a 50-megapixel telephoto camera offering 2.5x optical zoom, and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide lens. The Honor 200 Pro goes further with a 1/1.3-inch Super Dynamic H9000 Sensor, delivering enhanced light-sensing and HDR capabilities. Both models also incorporate dual stabilisation technology for improved image quality.
For portrait photography, the Honor 200 series utilises Harcourt’s signature lighting and shadow techniques to optimise exposure, while AI-driven image processing adds natural bokeh and depth across various zoom levels.

Beyond the camera system, the Honor 200 Pro sports a 6.78-inch quad-curved floating display, and the Honor 200 features a 6.7-inch AMOLED quad-curved display. Both offer peak HDR brightness of 4000 nits, 1.5K resolution, and a 120Hz refresh rate for fluid visuals.
In terms of battery life, the series is equipped with a 5200mAh silicon-carbon battery, featuring AI power-saving and fast-charging technology. Under the hood, the Honor 200 Pro is powered by a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, 12GB of RAM, and 512GB of storage. The standard Honor 200 runs on a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset and comes in two variants: 8GB RAM with 256GB storage or 12GB RAM with 512GB storage. Running on MagicOS 8.0 UI based on Android 14, the Honor 200 series offers a range of AI-driven features, including MagicLM, Magic Capsule, Magic Portal, Magic Ring, and Magic Anywhere Door.
