Phir Aayi Hasseen Dilruba’s Sunny Kaushal addressed Sharvari Wagh dating rumours and said that he is single.
Vicky Kaushal’s brother and actor Sunny Kaushal has been rumoured to be in a steady relationship with actress Sharvari Wagh for a few years now. Sunny Kaushal and Sharvari Wagh’s dating rumours started making rounds after they attended the IIFA awards together in Abu Dhabi. Since then, they have been going out frequently and have also never shied away from being papped together. However, Sunny recently denied these rumours.
Appearing on Raunaq Rajani’s Relationshit Advice, Sunny said, “I am single.” When blatantly asked if he is dating Sharvari, he said that she’s a “very good friend”. This led the Taapsee Pannu, Vikrant Massey and the audience to break into laughs.
Earlier, Sunny Kaushal, while addressing their dating rumours, told News18 Showsha, “I have told my parents long back to not look at me as though I am the next in line. It doesn’t bother me when my personal life makes headlines. It doesn’t hamper our equation at all because you understand that at the end of the day, they are just news headlines. It would be stupid of us to make it a reality and take it very seriously.”

While the actors never really admitted to dating each other, actor Ranveer Singh seemingly confirmed their relationship. In an episode of Koffee with Karan, Ranveer was asked with whom Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal would go on a double date. He was quick to take Sunny and Sharvari’s names.
Meanwhile, Sunny will now be seen in Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba. Picking up where the first film Haseen Dillruba left off, the story follows Rani Kashyap and Rishabh Saxena as they seek a fresh start in the vibrant city of Agra. With authorities on their trail and drops of blood marking their path, their quest takes a dramatic turn with the arrival of Sunny Kaushal’s character, Abhimanyu, introducing a fresh layer of intrigue to the drama. The lovers find new enemies with Jimmy Shergill and many more who want to foil their plans of ‘happily ever after.’

In December 2023, Taapsee Pannu, Sunny Kaushal and Vikrant Massey wrapped up shooting for the sequel of Haseen Dillruba. At the announcement event, Taapsee said, “Hai toh sequel. Toh, continuation hota hai ek taarike se. Main yahi kahungi ke Phir Aayi Haseen Dillruba ki Rani mein thora zyada pyaar hai, thori zyada himmat hai aur thora zyada pagalpan hai. Kyunki jo pagalpan ke hadh se na guzre woh pyar hee kya? Hosh mein toh rishte nibhaye jaatey hai (If there’s a sequel, it’s like a continuation. I’ll say this: in “Phir Aayi Haseen Dillruba ki Rani,” there’s a bit more love, a bit more courage, and a bit more craziness. Because what’s love without a little madness? Relationships are built in consciousness).”
