These flats will be allotted through e-auction. The date and schedule of registrations for the scheme and the e-auction will be announced soon.

According to DDA, the premium flats scheme will be part of a larger plan where the capital’s development agency will offer as many as 40,000 flats that will also have housing units meant for people in the economically weaker section (EWS) and lower-income group (LIG) categories.

“Under DDA Dwarka Housing Scheme 2024, MIG and HIG category flats will be offered in Sectors 14, 16B and 19B of Dwarka through an e-auction process. This will provide an opportunity to people to own a house in the upscale area of Dwarka. About 173 flats are being offered under the scheme, with starting price of Rs 128 lakh,” the authority noted.

The proposal to float these schemes was approved at a DDA board meeting on August 6. HIG and MIG apartments will be offered though e-auction while the LIG and EWS flats will be allotted on a first come, first served basis, officials said.

Affordable housing schemes

Apart from Dwarka Housing Scheme, the Authority has also approved DDA Sasta GharHousing Scheme 2024 to address affordable housing requirements.

Under this scheme, LIG and EWS flats will be allotted at discounted rates in Ramgarh Colony (northeast Delhi), Siraspur (northwest), Loknayakpuram (west), Rohini (west) and Narela (north) on a first come, first served mode. In this scheme, around 34,000 flats are to be offered, with price starting at about Rs 11.5 lakh.

Similarly, DDA has put on sale around 5,400 apartments under its General Housing Scheme 2024, which too will cater to categories including MIG, LIG and EWS.

These flats will be available in localities such as Jasola (south), Loknayakpuram and Narela and will be offered at 2023 prices without any price escalation. The starting price of flats in this scheme will be around Rs 29 lakh.
