The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) is preparing to introduce a scheme for 19 group housing plots near the Noida International Airport, expected to launch this week. These plots range in size from 16,188 square meters (approximately 2.8 acres) to 48,564 square meters (about 12 acres) and are situated in residential Sectors 17, 18, and 22D. Allocation of these plots will be conducted via e-auction, with reserve prices set between Rs 32,375 and Rs 35,612 per square meter. YEIDA officials anticipate the construction of at least 25,000 flats through this initiative. The combined area of these 19 plots totals around 4.3 lakh square meters, with a total reserve price of approximately Rs 1,407 crore.

Sector 22D will host a total of eight plots in various sizes: four plots spanning 20,235 sqm each, two plots of 47,754 sqm each, one plot of 45,731 sqm, and one plot of 48,564 sqm. The reserve prices for these plots range from Rs 65.51 crore to Rs 173 crore. Sector 18 will allocate six plots, each measuring 16,188 sqm. Meanwhile, Sector 17 will auction five plots of varying sizes: two plots of 11,513 sqm each, one plot of 12,141 sqm, one plot of 20,235 sqm, and one plot of 24,282 sqm. Their reserve prices are set between Rs 37 crore and Rs 78 crore.

Over the next few years, the demand is expected to surge from employees at factories, data centres, Noida International Airport, Film City, and other major projects, necessitating housing and amenities. YEIDA plans to introduce a minimum of 30 additional group housing plots shortly. Simultaneously, developers have expressed approval of YEIDA’s initiative to auction residential plots.
