Maruti Fronx Velocity Edition Launched in India, Price Starts at Rs 7.29 Lakh

The decision to introduce the latest offering comes at a time when the company marked the 1,00,000 sales mark of the model within 10 months.

The top car maker Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL) has launched Velocity Edition of Fronx. It is an accessorized version, which has been released in the market at the starting price of Rs. 7.29 lakhs (ex-showroom).

The decision to introduce the latest offering comes at a time when the company marked the 1,00,000 sales mark of the model within 10 months.  With the latest offering, the company aims to attract more customers and reach a wider target audience.

Total Trims

It is available across 14 trims, allowing the customers to choose between an impressive 1.2-litre (CNG and petrol) and the robust 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine options. The latest edition can be booked via an authorized dealership or an official website across the country.

It has been reported that the Velocity Edition in 1.2-litre Sigma trim will be available for a limited period. Incase you are interested, customers can save up to Rs . 22,000 on the deal as it is cheaper compared to the Sigma 1.2 MT variant, which comes at Rs 7.51 lakhs (ex-showroom).

Top Updates

Talking about the updates in the latest addition, it comes with an improved bumper, featuring a chrome finish treatment at the front with a sweet touch of red accents all around. The other notable updates include an illuminated door sill guard, body side molding, spoiler extender, designer mats, ORVM cover, door visor, roof rails, and the list goes on.

Powertrain

Under the hood, Fronx has been offered in both 1.2-litre, naturally 4-cylinder engine and 1.0-litre, turbocharged, 3-cylinder unit. The former generates a maximum power of 88 bhp and 113 Nm torque. The latter churns out 98 bhp and 147.6 Nm of peak torque.
