The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led National Democratic Alliance could be heading for a victory in Lok Sabha Elections 2024 even as the Congress-led led Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance (INDIA) gave it a tough fight. While the NDA was struggling to cross the 300-mark and was ahead on 293 seats, the INDIA bloc was leading on 229 seats. As counting of votes continued, the names of winning candidates started coming in. Home Minister Amit Shah won from the Gandhinagar seat in Gujarat while former Karnataka chief minister HD Kumaraswamy won from Karnataka’s Mandya seat.
