NHPC Dividend 2024 Announcement: NHPC, a PSU power stock under Rs 100, traded in the green in early morning deals on Friday ahead of the Q4 results and dividend announcement. The PSU stock opened nearly 1 per cent higher at Rs 99 against the previous close of Rs 98.20.
NHPC shares made a high of Rs 99.45 but receded immediately. It quoted at Rs 98.35 at 9:40 AM with 1.43 crore equities changing hands.

NHPC has informed through an exchange filing that its board will meet on May 17 to consider a proposal for declaring dividend. If announced, this would be the final dividend by NHPC for the financial year 2023-24.

“A meeting of Board of Directors of the Company is scheduled to be held on Friday, 17th May, 2024…,” NHPC said.
“…may also consider to recommend final dividend for the FY 2023-24, if any, on equity share capital of the company,” the statement by NHPC added.
