Reliance-owned music streaming platform JioSaavn announced two new premium subscription plans, primarily meant for partners and families. These new plans are aimed at reducing the effective billing price of the music streaming service, allowing a single subscription to accommodate up to six people, thus bringing down the effective price of JioSaavn to Rs 25 per person, per month.

The JioSaavn Duo plan costs Rs 129 a month and can be used by up to two users. Similarly, JioSaavn’s family subscription plan costs Rs 149 a month, which can be shared among six users. Similar family plans are also available on platforms like YouTube Music, Apple Music, and Spotify.

Users with JioSaavn Duo or family subscriptions can enjoy benefits like ad-free music, unlimited downloads, and unlimited Jiotunes for Jio network users. Additionally, these subscriptions offer enhanced audio quality with higher bit-rate music streaming. Users can also purchase a Jiotunes Plus plan to gain access to unlimited Jiotunes.

JioSaavn also offers an individual Pro plan for Rs 99 a month or Rs 749 a year, making it one of the most affordable annual music subscription plans in the country. The platform currently hosts over 80 million songs, including exclusive and original audio content, and JioSaavn can be accessed via Android, iOS, macOS, and Windows OS-powered devices either via the web browser or by downloading the app.
Jio also has recharge plans that offer complimentary access to JioSaavn Pro subscription, starting at Rs 268 for a 28-day plan, which also includes unlimited calling and 1.5 GB of 4G data per day.
