Dehradun Airport Announces 25 New Flights To Various Cities, Services To Begin From March 31; Check Schedule

Dehradun Airport to begin operations of 25 new flights to various cities this summer with effect from March 31. The airport management has already released the timetable for the new flight operations. Also, seven additional flights have been introduced as compared to the winter season.

Currently, the airport operates 18 flights every day. Air travel from Dehradun to Ayodhya will require passengers to wait. The updated schedule does not include a time slot for Doon-Ayodhya.

Flights are being operated from the airport to Delhi, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Hyderabad, Amritsar, Lucknow, Pune, Bengaluru, and Hisar, according to airport director Prabhakar Mishra. Flights are also being operated within the state of Uttarakhand.

Seven flights have been added to the summer timetable due to an increase in passenger flow at the airport. According to Mishra, IndiGo Airlines will have 18 flights daily in summer. Apart from this, four flights of Alliance Airlines, one flight of Flybig Airlines and two flights of Vistara Airlines will operate.

According to Nitin Kadyan, the deputy general manager of the airport, flights from Dehradun Airport to Pithoragarh will run every day during the summer schedule. There are flights available for Pantnagar four days a week.

He explained that flights to Ayodhya are currently operating three days a week till March 31. However, the flight to Ayodhya is not included in the updated schedule. However, in light of the passengers traveling to Ayodhya, efforts are being made to operate flights there.
