Petrol, Diesel Prices Today On February 22, 2024: Government oil companies have released the retail prices of petrol and diesel on Thursday morning. Even today, changes in oil prices are visible in many cities. While oil prices have declined for the second consecutive day in Bihar, they have become cheaper in some cities of Uttar Pradesh and are showing a rise in prices at some places. Meanwhile, the price of crude in the global market has also crossed $ 83 per barrel.
In India, the pricing of petrol and diesel is subject to influences like freight charges, value-added tax (VAT), and local taxes, resulting in different rates across states.

Petrol Diesel Price Today Rate Changes
According to government oil companies, today petrol in Noida became costlier by 6 paise to Rs 96.65 per litre. Here diesel also increased by 6 paise and is being sold at Rs 89.82 per litre. In Uttar Pradesh’s capital Lucknow, petrol has become cheaper by 10 paise to Rs 96.47 per liter and diesel has fallen by 10 paise to Rs 89.66 per litre. Apart from this, in Patna, the capital of Bihar, petrol has become cheaper by 35 paise and has reached Rs 107.24 per litre, while diesel is being sold at Rs 94.04 per liter with a fall of 32 paise.

As of February 22, the price of petrol in Mumbai continued to exceed the Rs 100 mark, reaching Rs 106.31 per litre, while diesel was priced at Rs 94.27 per litre.
