As Bihar is setting the stage for the much-awaited floor test on February 12 after Chief Minister Nitish Kumar dumped the ‘Mahagathbandhan’ alliance, the Janata Dal (United) supremo has called for a meeting of all his party MLAs on Sunday evening. According to sources, the meeting is scheduled to take place at around 5 pm.
Meanwhile, all eyes are placed on the five JD(U) MLAs, who kept off a ‘unity lunch’ event hosted by Bihar minister Shrawan Kumar on Saturday, ahead of Monday’s floor test.

RJD, CONGRESS IN HUDDLE
Simultaneously, former Bihar Deputy Chief Minister and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav will also be hosting a dinner party at his residence on Sunday evening to plan for the big ‘Khela’ in the Bihar Assembly on Monday. The Congress MLAs, who were camping in Hyderabad from February 4, are also set to return to Patna as Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is set to face the floor test on February 12.
It has been learnt that all the RJD MLAs along with the Congress and independent MLAs will be attending the dinner event hosted by Tejashwi at his residence to plan for the Opposition’s next move following Nitish Kumar’s betrayal.
Notably, the MLAs of RJD and the Communist Party of India (Marxist–Leninist) Liberation were seen gathering at the former Deputy Chief Minister’s house on Saturday night for a meeting. According to the visuals shared by news agency ANI, the legislators have been camping at Tejashwi’s residence after the meeting as well as their support staff was seen bringing essential items such as clothes and blankets.

Following the meeting at Tejashwi Yadav’s residence, RJD MP Manoj Jha informed that legislators of the ‘Mahagathbandhan’ have decided to stay together for the next 48 hours and were enjoying their time together.
“Andar antakshari chal rahi hai (they are singing songs inside),” Jha was quoted as saying.

NITISH KUMAR DUMPS MAHAGATHBANDHAN, SEEKS TRUST VOTE WITH NDA TOMORROW
