Ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Bulandshahr on January 25, the Gautam Buddha Nagar Police has issued a traffic advisory and has alerted the commuters of possible diversions on the expressways. Read to know details.

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been taking work trips continuously for the last couple of weeks – from his trip to South India to coming to Ayodhya for the Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha. The Prime Minister is now expected to visit Bulandshahr on Thursday, January 25, 2024 for a BJP Programme; Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and other state ministers and party leaders are expected to attend this event. Ahead of PM Modi’s Bulandshahr visit, the Gautam Buddha Nagar Police has issued a traffic advisory in Noida for Janaury 25 and has said that even though for a brief period, there may be diversions on the expressways – Noida-Greater Noida Expressway and the Yamuna Expressway. Noida Police Issues Traffic Advisory
As mentioned earlier, the Gautam Buddha Nagar Police has issued a traffic advisory and has announced possible diversions on the highway – Noida Greater Noida Expressway and Yamuna Expressway. Apart from the diversions, the alert has also suggested alternative routes for the commuters.

The advisory issued said, “The general public is informed that on Thursday (January 25), the tour programme of a very distinguished dignitary is proposed in Bulandshahr district. In view of this, in case of any emergency in Commissionerate Gautam Buddh Nagar, traffic could be diverted on the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway and the Yamuna Expressway for a short time.”
In a PTI report, Anil Kumar Yadav, the Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic) was quoted as saying, “The diversion on the two key expressways could be made only in case that is required. The diversions have been announced to make sure commuters opt for alternative routes and any inconvenience to them is avoided.”

Emergency Vehicles To Be Allowed To Pass Safely
Even though commuters are expected to follow the diversions and restrictions mentioned in the Noida Traffic Advisory, the advisory does not hold for emergency vehicles. The emergency vehicles will be allowed to pass, even during the traffic diversion. The advisory also said, “In case of traffic inconvenience, commuters can contact the traffic helpline number 9971009001.”
Traffic Diversions On Expressway
- The diversion plan, according to the traffic advisory, says that the those going to Greater Noida from the Chilla Red Light via the Noida Greater Noida Expressway, will be diverted towards the Sector 15 Roundabout from Sector 14A Flyover and will be able to use the DSC Route.
- If you are travelling to Greater Noida via expressway from Sector 37, you will be diverted from the Sector 44 Roundabout to the double service road.
- Those going to Greater Noida via DND will be diverted to Rajnigandha Chowk in Sector 16 and they will be able to proceed further via DSC and MP-01 Route.
- Traffic going to Greater Noida from Kalindi border using the expressway, will be diverted from Mahamaya Flyoer to Sector 37; they will reach their destination via MP-03 Route and DSC Route.
- Those going to Noida from Greater Noida using the expressway, will be diverted to Sector 95 from Charkha Roundabout and will reach their destination via Mahamaya Flyover and Sector 37.

- If you are going to Dalit Prerna Sthal Parking Tiraha from Kalindi Border, towards DND/Chilla, you will be diverted to Sector 37 from Mahamaya Flyover.
- Commuters heading towards GIP Mall towards DND via the Film City Flyover will be diverted below the Film City Flyover by u-turn.
- Going to Delhi using the DND Flyover from Rajnigandha side? You will be diverted from Rajnigandha Chowk and you will be able to reach your destination via DSC Route From the New Ashok Nagar border.
- Traffic going to Delhi using the Sector 14A Flyover from Golchakkar Chowk Sector 15 will be diverted and will be able to go ahead using the New Ashok Nagar Border via DSC Route.
- Traffic going from Zero Point via Yamuna Expressway in Greater Noida, will be diverted to Pari Chowk and they will have to use routes via Kasna Town, Sirsa and Eastern Peripheral Expressway.
- Those coming from Agra to Noida, will be able to get down on the route towards Jewar Town ahead of Jewar Toll Plaza; they can go via Sabauta Underpass via Khurja Bypass via Jahangirpur.
- If you are going to Noida from Pari Chowk using the Noida Greater Noida Expressway, you will be diverted towards Sujpur and will be able to reach your destination via Greater Noida West.
