Originally from Sirsa, Haryana, Wardhan’s academic journey began in his hometown, followed by achieving a B.Tech. in Electronics Engineering from Hisar. His ambition led him to Delhi, where he ventured on a rigorous preparation journey for the UPSC exam. Despite attempting 30 different competitive exams, including Haryana PCS, UPPSC, SSC, and CGL, he faced disappointment each time.
The UPSC examination became a formidable challenge for him. His initial attempts in 2014 and subsequent four consecutive tries yielded no success. However, instead of succumbing to despair, Wardhan used these failures as stepping stones. Each setback became a learning opportunity, motivating him further to refine his approach.

Finally, in 2018, his persistent dedication bore fruit when he secured an All India Rank (AIR) of 104, entering the prestigious realm of the IPS. Despite this achievement, Wardhan’s pursuit didn’t conclude. Driven by a desire for greater impact, he set his eyes on the IAS and, in 2021, accomplished his goal.
