Routes and Commercial operation of long distance Vande Bharat Express
This new Vande Bharat Express Special train will operate from New Delhi(NDLS)-Patna (PNBE) and vice versa. It will commence its journey on November 11 from New Delhi railway station.
Distance, Travel time, and Frequency of 02252/02251 NDLS-PNBE-NDLS Vande Bharat Express Special:-
The 02252/02251 New Delhi-Patna-New Delhi Vande Bharat Express Special train will cover a distance of 1000 km in 11 hrs and 35 minutes. This will be the second fastest train on the route after train number 12310/12309 New Delhi-Patna-New Delhi Rajdhani Express. It covers the same distance in 11 hrs and 30 minutes.

As of now, the train will run for three days in both directions. Between NDLS and PNBE, this express train will ply on November 11th, 14th and 16th. From PNBE to NDLS, the train will run on November 12,15 and 17, 2023.
Coach Composition of New Delhi-Patna-New Delhi Vande Bharat Express Special:-
The train number 02252/02251 New Delhi-Patna-New Delhi Vande Bharat Express Special will be composed of 16 coaches. The train will have two types of seating arrangements i.e. AC Chair Car (CC) and Executive Chair Car (EC).

Train number 02252 New Delhi-Patna Vande Bharat Special Express will depart from New Delhi at 07:25 hrs. It will reach Kanpur Central at 12:02 hrs, Prayagraj at 14:08 hrs, Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay Jn at 15:50 hrs, Buxar at 17:15 hrs and Ara at 18:08 hrs. It will arrive at Patna Junction at 19:00 hrs on the same day.

On return, train number 02251 Patna-New Delhi Vande Bharat Special Express will depart from Patna at 07:30 hrs. It will arrive at Ara Junction at 08:28 hrs, Buxar at 09:28 hrs, Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay Jn. at 10:28 hrs, Prayagraj at 12:10 hrs and Prayagraj at 14:18 hrs. It will reach New Delhi at 19:00 hrs on the same day, stopping at Kanpur Central.

On the train number 02252/02251, New Delhi-Patna-New Delhi Vande Bharat Express Special, the fare for the AC Chair Car coach from New Delhi (NDLS) to Patna (PNBE) is Rs 2355, and for the AC Executive Chair Car coach, it is Rs 4410. Dynamic charges are not applicable during the time of booking of this train.
