Bollywood actress Nushrratt Bharuccha is stranded in Israel amid the Hamas terror attack. The actress was in Israel for the Haifa International Film Festival. A member of her team has confirmed that they spoke to Dream Girl actress after Palestinian militant group Hamas attacked Israel. They confirmed that she was safe in a basement of a building on Saturday. But they have not been able to connect with her since.

Speaking with India Today, Nushrratt’s team member said, “Nushrratt has been unfortunately stranded in Israel. She had flown there to attend the Haifa International Film Festival. The last time that I managed to get in touch with her was around 12.30 pm earlier today, when she was safe in a basement. For safety measures, further details cannot be disclosed.”
“However, since then, we were not able to connect. We are trying to get Nushrratt back safely to India and hope she returns back in the best of health and unharmed,” they added. Sources close to Israel Government said she reached the airport safely but because of chaos at airport, she wasn’t able to board flight and is waiting for a flight out of Israel.

On Saturday, a surprise attack by Hamas on Israel, which combined gunmen breaching security barriers with a barrage of rockets fired from Gaza, was launched at dawn on Saturday during the Jewish high holiday of Simchat Torah. More than 300 have been killed in the Hamas assault. Several heartbreaking photos and videos from Israel have been shared on various social media platforms and the world has extended its support to Israel.
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi also posted on X, “Deeply shocked by the news of terrorist attacks in Israel. Our thoughts and prayers are with the innocent victims and their families. We stand in solidarity with Israel at this difficult hour.”

Israeli actress Gal Gadot also shared her reaction to the shocking turn of events. The actress took to Instagram and shared that she is heartbroken by the recent turn of events. She added that she prays for everyone in pain. Jamie Lee Curtis, Everything Everywhere All At Once star, also expressed her grief over the turn of events.
