MUMBAI: The RBI on Thursday added 23 more banks to UDGAM portal – a centralised database through which investors can search and get information about their deposits lying unclaimed with various banks – taking the total to 30.

About 90% of the unclaimed deposits in the Indian banking system are now available on the portal, an RBI release said.
During this round of addition, most of the large private sector lenders have been included. HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Axis Bank and IndusInd Bank are now in this list of 30 banks.
