Every pensioner is provided with Pension Payment Order number. It is a 12-digit number provided to every pensioner who is covered by EPS (Employee Pension Scheme) under Employee Provident Fund (EPF). A Pension Payment Order number is essential if you want to track the status of your pension.
The pensioner has to provide Aadhaar number, name, mobile number and self declared pension related information like PPO number, pension account number, bank details, name of pension sanctioning authority, pension disbursing authority, etc.

How to find your PPO number?
In order to find your PPO number,
Step 1: Log on to www.epfindia.gov.in
Step 2: Under Online Service, click on the pensioner’s portal.
Step 3: On the Pensioners portal, click on ‘Know Your PPO number’ which is mentioned on the right side of the page.
Step 4: Enter either your bank account number or PF Number.
You will receive you PPO number, as well as your Member ID and type of pension, after entering the relevant information.
This unique number is required while applying for a pension and during the submission of Annual Life Certificate. Transferring a PF account from one bank branch to another can be problematic if one does not know their PPO number.

How to download Pension Payment Order number from Digilocker?In order to download Pension Payment Order from Digilocker a pensioner will have to follow these steps.
Step 1: Login into Digilocker account – digilocker.gov.in and register.
Step 2: Click on UAN services and enter the number.
Step 3: Click on ‘Get Document’
Step 4: Download the ePPO
The data will be saved in the issued documents section. You can also download Scheme Certificate and UAN by following the same steps.
