martphone brand Tecno has confirmed to launch of its first flip-style foldable smartphone Phantom V Flip 5G this month. According to the company, the Tecno Phantom V Flip 5G will be unveiled on September 22. Alongside the flip phone, the company will also introduce its 14-inch Tecno Megbook T1 laptop.

Both devices will be introduced at Flip In Style TECNO Flagship Product Launch 2023 in Singapore on September 22. “Tecno Phantom V Flip 5G is the latest innovation to stem from Tecno’s ‘Go Premium’ strategy, the company said in a media invite.
WHAT TO EXPECT
According to reports, the Tecno Phantom V Flip 5G is expected to launch in Film White, Minimal Black, and Periwinkle Purple colour options. Tecno Phantom V Flip 5G will come with a 6.9-inch AMOLED full-HD+ primary display and a 1.32-inch AMOLED outer panel with a resolution of 466 x 466 pixels, Gadgets360 reported.

The foldable phone from Tecno is likely to come with pre-installed Android 13. The Tecno Phantom V Flip 5G is expected to come with dual batteries, one with a capacity of 1,165mAh and the other with 2,735mAh, which together are marketed as providing a total battery support of 4,000mAh.
A previous leak also indicated that this foldable phone is likely to support fast charging at 45W. Coming to cameras, the Tecno Phantom V Flip 5G is likely to have a 64MP main rear camera with auto-focus and a 13MP secondary sensor at the back. The front camera is likely to be a 32MP sensor placed in the center of the hole-punch cutout at the top of the display.

Coming to the pricing, tipster Paras Guglani has also claimed that the Phantom V Flip will be one of the cheapest foldables with a price tag under Rs 50,000.
