After the conclusion of the ongoing five-match T20I series against the West Indies team, India will travel to Ireland to face the European nation in a three-match shortest format series. The matches will take place at The Village in Dublin on Friday (August 18), Sunday (August 20), and Wednesday (August 23). India will have a new captain in the form of Jasprit Bumrah for the Ireland T20Is, where Hardik Pandya and Suryakumar Yadav aren’t going. Bumrah has not played any competitive match since September 25, 2022, and will make his long-awaited return against the Irish team, which has failed to qualify for the ODI World Cup 2023.
