OnePlus has announced a lifetime warranty for users affected by the “green-screen” issue. The company states that the warranty covers all models, adding that old OnePlus devices, including OnePlus 8 Pro, OnePlus 8T, OnePlus 9, and OnePlus 9R, won’t be covered since there are no “spare parts” to fix the issue. However, OnePlus is promising up to a Rs 30,000 discount voucher to upgrade their old device to a new OnePlus device. It means users can buy a new OnePlus phone for effectively Rs 5,000 to Rs 10,000.
