Hisar: Former Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda had a narrow escape after the Toyota Land Cruiser in which he was travelling met with an accident in Hisar on Sunday. Hooda and other occupants of the vehicle escaped without major injuries.
Bhupinder Hooda was on his way to attend a function in Hisar’s Giraye village to honour boxer Saweety Boora when the vehicle rammed into a nilgai. Though he escaped unhurt, their was extensive damage to the vehicle.

Images from the accident site show the impact of the accident triggered the deployment of the two front air bags of the SUV. Bhupinder Singh Hooda then shifted to another vehicle in his cavalcade and proceeded with scheduled programmes.
