Gold, Silver Prices Today: The prices of both precious metals- gold and silver surged on Monday’s trade on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX).
Gold futures, maturing on April 5, rose by 0.34 percent or Rs 191 to stand at Rs 55,912 per 10 grams on the MCX at around 9.45 today.
Likewise, silver futures, maturing on May 5, increased by 0.63 percent or Rs 403 at Rs 64,804 per 1 kg on Monday.
Both gold and silver settled at Rs 55721 and at Rs 64401, respectively on the previous trading day close.

Gold, silver prices in international market
In the international stock market, the prices of gold and silver inched up. US gold futures rose 1.06 percent to stand at $1,855 an ounce while spot silver firm increased by 1.73 percent to stand at $21.27 per ounce.
