Honda City 2023 Launched: Japanese automaker Honda has launched the latest avatar of its iconic sedan – Honda City – in India on Thursday, March 2. The new version of City with 1.5 litre petrol variants are priced between Rs 11.49 and Rs 15.97 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). While the strong hybrid trims – eHEV – are priced at Rs 18.89 lakh and Rs 20.39 lakh respectively.

“The new Honda City is a true sedan expression. Characterised by its strong stance and presence,” president and CEO of Honda Cars India Takuya Tsumura said.
“India as the lead market for the model, we are excited to introduce the new City with sportier new look and enhanced new features for advanced safety, connectivity and convenience,” he added.

The new City combines technology and high-quality texture to create a futuristic cabin. It will be available in six exciting colour options – Obsidian Blue Pearl, Radiant Red Metallic, Platinum White Pearl, Golden Brown Metallic, Meteoroid Grey Metallic and Lunar Silver Metallic.

Some other features include wireless charging, quality rear cameras, a high definition full colour TFT meter and more.
The Honda City 2023 is powered by BS 6 engine that is based on the high-accuracy valve control technology called DOHC i-VTEC + VTC, according to the official website. It is a high-performance engine that delivers 89[121]@6600 ps@rpm power and 145@4300 Nm@rpm torque.
To provide better safety to its customers, the new Honda City now comes with Honda Sensing on both – the e:HEV and petrol models. It also comes equipped with six airbags, tyre-pressure monitoring system (TPMS), rain-sensing wipers, and more.
