New Delhi: Petrol and diesel prices across the country remained unchanged for the 153rd day straight on Friday as public sector oil marketing companies didn’t announce any change in fuel prices. Oil companies have kept prices unchanged since May 21 when the Centre slashed excise duties on petrol by Rs 8 per litre and on diesel by Rs 6 per litre.
Despite a significant decline in global crude prices since its peak in June, Indian energy companies have not implemented daily price revisions for almost four months.

Fuel prices in Delhi NCR
A litre of petrol in the national capital is being sold at Rs 96.72 and diesel at Rs 89.62 per litre currently. In neighbouring Noida, petrol is retailing at Rs 96.79 per litre while diesel at Rs 89.96 per litre. The price of petrol in Gurugram is Rs 97.18 per litre while that of diesel is Rs 90.05 per litre.
Petrol, diesel prices in other metros
In Mumbai, a litre of petrol costs Rs 106.31 and diesel costs Rs 94.27 per litre. Petrol price in Kolkata is Rs 106.03 per litre and that of diesel is Rs 92.76 per litre. In Chennai, petrol is currently priced at Rs 102.63 and diesel at Rs 94.24 per litre. In Bengaluru, petrol costs Rs 101.94 per litre while diesel is priced at Rs 87.89.

Fuel prices in other cities
Residents of Rajasthan’s Sriganganagar in continue to pay the highest fuel prices in India at Rs 113.49 a litre for petrol and Rs 98.24 per litre for diesel. In Jaipur, petrol and diesel cost Rs 108.48 per litre and Rs 93.72 per litre, respectively. In Patna, a litre of petrol costs Rs 107.24 while diesel costs Rs 94.04.
