The rates of both gold and silver have changed on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) today. With the dip of Rs 85 or 0.17 per cent, gold futures, maturing on October 5, 2022, stand at Rs 50,505 per 10 grams on the MCX.
Meanwhile, the silver rates recorded a hike on the MCX on Monday. The silver futures, maturing on December 5, 2022, witnessed a jump of Rs 202 or 0.37 per cent on the MCX.

It stood at Rs 55,140 per kg on the domestic market on September 12.
Notably, in India, gold and silver prices depend on several factors. Various factors such as the rupee against the dollar, and global demand plays a key role in determining the trends observed in the rate of precious metals etc, the metal prices are decided.
