The Delhi Metro has announced that train services will be affected today at several stations of the Yellow line. Taking to Twitter, the metro officials tweeted that the train services between Sultanpur and Ghitorni stations would not be available on Monday.
Meanwhile, the entry to the MG Road Metro Station has also been temporarily closed.
However, the normal service will continue on other lines and between HUDA City Centre and Ghitorni, as well as Sultanpur and Samaypur Badli.

The tweet read, “Services are not available between Sultanpur and Ghitorni. Services are available between HUDA City Centre and Ghitorni as well as Sultanpur and Samaypur Badli. Normal services on all other lines.” (sic)
In a security update, DMRC said that the entry to MG Road Metro Station is temporarily closed. However, the exit is open.

COMMUTERS IRKED
The commuters were agitated as the DMRC did not reveal when the services would resume on the affected lines. Many netizens complained about the constant tech snags in the metro train services and asked the DMRC to specify the timings of the train services.
A user wrote, “DMRC, You should provide a note to all the passengers stating that DMRC is responsible for the delay or inconvenience caused. It would be helpful for at least students and working employees.” (sic)
Some users even revealed that the Ghitorni and IFFCO Chowk stations have also been shut. Have a look.
MAINTENANCE WORK OF METRO
On Sunday as well, the metro services were affected on the Yellow Line due to planned maintenance work.
Taking to Twitter, DMRC wrote, “Due to pre-planned maintenance work, Metro services will not be available from Sultanpur to Qutub Minar on the Yellow Line for going towards Samaypur Badli from 5:15 AM till 6 AM on 11th September 2022, i.e, tomorrow (Sunday).”
