Nissan Motor India has announced that they are offering benefits of up to ₹55,000 along with additional carnival benefits of up to ₹10,000. Nissan is calling it Hattrick Carnival and it will be running from 1st to 30th April 2025. Moreover, a gold coin is also assured with every purchase.

Nissan registers highest ever sales
Nissan Motor India has achieved its highest sales figures since the fiscal year 2017-18, largely driven by the success of the Nissan Magnite. Launched in October 2024, this B-SUV has played a pivotal role in boosting both domestic sales and exports.
In fiscal year 2024, Nissan Motor India reported consolidated sales exceeding 99,000 units, marking a 35 percent increase compared to the previous year. Domestic sales surpassed 28,000 units, while exports reached a record high of over 71,000 units. The company’s export footprint expanded significantly, growing from 20 to more than 65 international markets, thereby solidifying India’s position as a vital production and export center within Nissan’s global operations.

By August 2024, cumulative sales of the Nissan Magnite had reached 150,000 units. The model also achieved a notable export milestone, with 50,000 units shipped to both right-hand-drive (RHD) and left-hand-drive (LHD) markets, with Saudi Arabia emerging as the primary destination for the LHD variant.
Through its ‘One Car, One World’ strategy, Nissan aims to strengthen its status as a leading global automotive exporter. The company’s export activities have shown steady growth, with shipments increasing from 32,389 units in fiscal year 2020 to over 71,000 units in fiscal year 2024.

Nissan future plans
Nissan has revealed its intentions to introduce two new models in the near future: a seven-seater B-MPV scheduled for FY25 and a five-seater C-SUV set to debut in FY26. Additionally, the company is expanding its dealership network to enhance accessibility and improve customer service.
Renault buys stake in Nissan
In line with its worldwide restructuring initiative, Nissan is undertaking a strategic overhaul of its operations in India. The company plans to divest its shares in the Chennai joint venture factory to its Alliance partner, Renault, with the transaction anticipated to conclude by mid-2025, pending regulatory approval. Nissan has indicated that this move aims to streamline its operations and enhance agility while maintaining a commitment to the Indian market.
