On Sunday, March 30, 2025, Sikandar had an overall Hindi occupancy of 21.60%. The Day 1 Hindi (2D) occupancy across various shows was as follows: 13.76% in the morning, 24.00% in the afternoon, 25.08% in the evening, and 23.55% at night. In key locations, Mumbai had 21.50% in the morning, with evening and night shows at 24% each, while the National Capital Region (NCR) saw similar occupancy rates with 21.75% in the morning and 25% in the evening and night. Pune’s numbers were slightly lower, with 18.25% in the morning and 21% for afternoon and evening shows. Early estimates suggest that Sikandar earned Rs 26 Cr on its first Sunday, making its total opening day collection Rs 26 Cr.

Sikandar did not break any records on its opening day and earned less than Vicky Kaushal’s Chhaava, which made Rs 31 crore. Salman’s past films, like Sultan (Rs 36.54 crore) and Tiger 3 (Rs 53.3 crore), set a higher bar. The film had a 20.95% Hindi occupancy on its first day. It remains to be seen if it grows in the coming days.
News18 Showsha gave the film a rating of 3.5 stars. An excerpt from the review read, “Salman Khan’s presence is electrifying, and he commands every scene with his trademark charisma.
