New Delhi: In India, the price of 24-karat gold per gram was recorded at Rs 8,984, rising by Rs 44. Similarly, the price of 22-karat gold was recorded at Rs 8,235 per gram with the price increasing by Rs 40. The rate for 18-karat gold (or 999 gold) was Rs 6,738 per gram, rising by Rs 33.

The cost of 22-karat gold for 10 grams was Rs 82,350, rising by Rs 400, and 24-karat gold was recorded at Rs 89,840 for 10 grams, also increasing by Rs 440.
On March 27, at approximately 10:05 am, MCX Gold for April 4 contracts was up 0.53%, trading at Rs 88,098 per 10 grams. It reached a peak of Rs 89,796 per 10 grams on March 20.
