Lakhs of devotees visit Ramlala on the ground floor of the Ram Temple daily, but only 800 devotees will be able to visit the Ram Darbar on the first floor due to administrative restrictions. Unlike the ground floor, accommodating large crowds on the first floor will not be feasible.
Nripendra Mishra, Chairman of the Ram Mandir Nirman Samiti, shared this update while addressing the media before the second-day meeting of the Ram Mandir Samiti. He confirmed that the Ram Darbar will be installed within the first 15 days of May during an auspicious period.
A pass system will be introduced for darshan, allowing 50 devotees per hour, totaling 800 visitors per day.
Mishra also provided updates on the upgradation of the International Ram Katha Museum, where 20 new galleries are under construction. He assured that all work on the Ram Mandir will be completed by December 2025, except for the auditorium, which will be finished later.
During the committee meeting, discussions were held on the Surya Tilak of Lord Ram. Last year, a temporary technical setup was used for the Surya Tilak of Ram Lalla on Ram Navami.

However, with the temple’s peak nearing completion, a permanent arrangement is now being designed to ensure this sacred tradition continues seamlessly for the next 20 years. The Surya Tilak program will also be broadcast live in India and abroad.
Construction of the four gates of the Ram Mandir is underway. On Ram Navami, Tirtha Kshetra Trust General Secretary Champat Rai is expected to announce the names of the gates, which will be dedicated to great personalities who played a significant role in the Ram Mandir movement.
